The author did a great job of making no one likable and yet you didn't totally hate them. There was still hope that they might do better. But then you learn more about their history. This was a little like And Then There Were None. The tension between the characters was realistic and their issues were believable. Everyone of these people could be out there. That added another layer of suspense to the story. I'm really glad I picked this book up.
