Family, Fame, and Figuring it Out

I won't rate this poorly written memoir because it feels wrong to judge someone's attempt to break free from a dysfunctional family, but I will say that it made me feel icky in all of the ways. (I'm pretty sure I have ever used that word to describe anything before.) The narrative of the book is: “I am the good girl and victim in every situation.” It was extremely hard to digest.
