This House Will Never Be Warm

I absolutely loved the concept of the story, it was a refreshing read in how unique it is. I loved that this major winter storm was turned into a horror story.

Unfortunately, the writing kept pulling me out of the story. We would be following someone's perspective in the novel and then the next paragraph would be a different person's perspective without any clear indication that we were switching who we were following. Also, I felt like I was being told what was happening more so than being shown, which detracted from what should have been some majorly creepy moments.

Overall, it was an interesting read. I don't regret reading it, but I don't think I would read it again.
