I just realised that Jess is literally the main character.
This was a surprisingly good book! I mean, sure, the synopsis is very misleading and the big twist, while quite unpredictable, requires a great suspension of beliefs; but I still really enjoyed it. This book was a wild ride from start to finish and took a completely different direction than what I was expecting. The romance was really ~unexpected~ and cute. I think I speak for everyone when I say that this just turned one of our biggest what-ifs into reality. Like I said, this book is not very realistic as this would never happen in real life but, sometimes, that's exactly why we read fiction. Overall, this was a really fun read and I would totally recommend it!!!
