3.25 stars. Not a fan of motorcycle club romance, and Lindsey acknowledges in the book's preface that it is a “gray romance,” so YMMV. But I do appreciate a series with the “band of brothers' feel, and Tidal Wave does that more successfully than any of Lindsey's books since Irons and Works ([b:Free Hand 44752509 Free Hand (Irons and Works, #1) E.M. Plus as always they include characters with disabilities who aren't defined or limited by them, which is still a rarity in the romance genre. Be advised that although Gunnar and Logan engage in a lot of mutual pining and lusting, they don't really get together until almost the end of the book. It's appropriate given the plot, but for those who want a lot of sexytimes, you might be disappointed. Recommended for readers who don't mind MCs with their own moral codes, including killing other men when they think it's necessary to protect their found family members.
