Reading To Be a Family was like sitting down with old friends and having a cuppa on a winter's day: pure comfort.

Joan Kilby writes great realistic characters with solid conflicts they work through to reach their HEA.

I loved how she wove Balinese traditions throughout the book (Tuti was adorable!)

John the hero was a lovely combination of alpha male exterior yet pure beta on the inside.

Katie the heroine had many issues to work through and the resolution was oh-so-satisfying.

If you enjoy heartwarming romance, you'll love this book.
