To Wake a Kingdom

This gave me Disney vibes.  I kept imagining that the forest it took place in was the same one as Beauty and The Beast.  The only difference is the main character is more sassy and there is spice that Disney wouldn't allow.  This has enemies to lovers, fae, and a female evil villain.  This is a dark retelling of sleeping beauty.  The difference is sleeping beauties story ends as she wakes up where Thorne's is just beginning.  The main character is Thorne, whose name I absolutely love.  She is sassy, brave, independent, and she learns to fight. Just when you think you know what is going to happen next a new twist or turn happens.  My only issue with this book is that I love everything tied up nice and neat at the end and there was one thing that I wish was different.
