Too Far Down

Whew! I wasn't expecting the final installment of this family danger tale to involve people getting trapped in a mine...what I was expecting was the shootouts through the tale, since this is after all a Mary Connealy book with bad guys in it. This is Cole and Mel's story and it is quite an interesting one.

I really enjoyed that their romance is more subtle and more emphasis is placed on the finding and catching the killers than on heartbeats and muscles and feelings. This is how I like romance to be portrayed...it feels more real.
