Torment

I honestly felt like this book was lacking. I felt that Luce didn't really learn anything, when this was the time she should have learned so much. Daniel annoyed me with his overly possessive, “obey me because I am man” attitude. I mean, I can understand where it was coming from, but it still bugged me. There are many little details I could complain about, but they're things that probably wouldn't have bothered me if the rest of the book had more substance. I suppose I just didn't feel interested or invested in anything that was happening until the end of the book, and that just wan't enough for me. I'm definitely still interested in the story enough to finish the series, but this book went in directions that just did not intrigue me.
