Boyd Hudson is a firefighter with a tragic past. He's working hard to accomplish his dream – get into medical school. Boyd is strong, fiercely loyal, protective of his family and friends, hot, charming, hard working and has a huge giving heart. Trust me, Boyd is not only amazing, he's the ultimate book boyfriend!

Janie is fiercely independent, she moved away from her overprotective parents, built a life in New York City, lives next door to her best friend Kiki (is there going to be a book about Kiki? I loved her!) and she loves her job as a technical editor. Janie is also blind and she wants to demonstrate that her disability doesn't define her.

Boyd is instantly attracted to Janie but he hasn't got much time for dating because he's totally focused on his dream. Janie thinks that Boyd is a player but she likes to flirt and talk to him. Until fate stepped in and Janie has an accident. Fortunately, Boyd is there to help her, support her and he takes her to the hospital, but she needs to lean on him for a few days and that makes their attraction to each other impossible to deny.

Their story is red hot, funny, sweet, emotional, unique, beautifully written and before you know it, you're laughing and crying with the characters and you're deeply invested in their journey.

I've read a few of Melissa Foster's books but Touched by Love is definitely her best. And it's not a 5 star book, it's a 6 star above and beyond! One of my 2016 top reads!
