Yeah, I don't get it. I understand what I'm reading; that's not the problem. The problem was that this was tedious. It was boring. It was offensive, disgusting, vulgar, rude, crass, and any other such adjective. But it was BORING. That's the real sin here, folks: It was so bloody boring, I had to read it in multiple sittings. I was excited to try one of the most acclaimed comics ever (or whatever), and I sadly knew within a couple pages that it wasn't for me. I like vulgar things. But I like them to be witty and entertaining. Spider Jerusalem is dull and annoying. He's a lunatic and a brat, and he should be enjoyable, but he just wasn't. The art isn't my favorite, although I'm sure the artist is just fine. The aesthetic just wasn't for me.

Yes, I'll try the next one, but I'm not getting my hopes up. So far I only like the cat.
