Pierce Waverly, the Earl of Devonmont, has been estranged from his mother for most of his life. Sabrina Jeffries never disappoints! This book finally brings us the store of Pierce Waverly, who we first meet in 4 Hellions book. Pierce's story ends up a little darker than I thought it would, especially being a Christmas story. He's got a troubled past and a complicated relationship with his mother. Enter Camilla, his mother's companion and friend, who wants to reunite mother and son. The story is about forgiveness and new beginnings and I really enjoyed it. Seeing mother and son mend their relationship and begin to move past the old hurts was one of the best parts of this book. It's a great Christmas read!
