Unconditional Love

I have to say going into this I was expecting a cute little love story and while we do get that there were some aspects that we got that I wasn't expecting. The first thing I wasn't expecting was the POV of a dog. While I thought it was cute, I could have done without the POV of the dog because those chapters came off very childlike and I just didn't care for them. Like I said we do get a romance, but the book is mostly about the unconditional love between a human and her dog and again I thought it was cute, but it wasn't what I was expecting/wanting so I was left a little disappointed.
