I much preferred this book to the Guenther's previous work, the writing style has since dropped the diary style writing for a more traditional format of a memoir which is much more appealing. This also benefits the book as the scope of the retelling is over a longer time period than compared to the previous edition, over a decade compared to just a year.

Despite the author writing about a longer period it almost feels more detailed and interesting compared to the previous, possibly at the expense of some engaging and entertaining content that came from the previous style of writing.

Where the previous book felt like a conversation or reading a message from your friend's personal accounts this felt more like a professional discussion which definitely made for a more interesting read.
