In the sizzling hockey romance that has taken TikTok by storm, the star goalie discovers the family he’s always wanted when he falls in love with a single mother. “Mack proves it is in fact always the quiet ones. Another deliciously sexy and honest story of friendship, family, and falling in love.” —Hannah Grace, New York Times bestselling author of Wildfire and Icebreaker The third book in the globally popular Playing for Keeps series. Can he leave the past behind to forge the future he’s always wanted? When it comes to dating, Adam Lockwood wouldn’t know luck if it hit him in the face. After a failed relationship and a string of dates gone wrong, the thought of being vulnerable with someone is terrifying—most women only see his fame. But when his dog runs into Rosie Wells, a beautiful woman with a blush as pink as her hair, she doesn’t seem to have a clue who he is, and Adam seizes the opportunity as a chance to finally be himself. Rosie has her hands full as a single mother and fourth-year veterinary student, and she certainly wouldn’t know a hockey player if she ran into one. She doesn’t have time to date, and she’s fiercely protective of her little family. But when a chance encounter leads her to Adam, she knows it’s worth risking her heart. The only problem? Adam is used to wearing a mask—he’s a goalie, after all. And as he holds onto a secret that threatens to unravel him and destroy his new family, they’re both at risk of losing more than ever before.

Adam Lockwood, y'all! Adam. Freaking. Lockwood. Unravel me is the third book in the Playing for Keeps series. The story follows Vancouver Vipers goalie Adam Lockwood and Rosie Wells, a single mom and vet student. While on a hike with his dog, Adam meets Rosie and their chemistry is instant. Both have secrets and insecurities that have hardened their hearts, but with each other they are able to let their walls down. Their romance is so incredibly sweet, but also very hot! Adam is so so incredibly tender it had me swooning! You also get to see so much of the characters' lives and the lives of their friends who I have come to know and love! The bunch of them feel so well developed because you get so much of them in every book! The found family element in this entire series is just so special. The friendship, the banter, the absolutely ‘laugh out loud' moments— it's all so so good! Unravel Me is an adult sports romance, 18+ for sexual content and themes.

When I say that I had a lot of hype for this book is because I had it, and despite being giving my third chance to this saga I have been disappointed :(
The first book seemed to me without more and I did not understand all the hype I had but I ended up reading it because it was recommended to me by several friends and in the end I ended up giving it 2 stars, but the SECOND? YES YES YES AND YES, I loved it, I thought it was one of the best field hockey romances I've read (and believe me I've read many) so my expectations were very high until I read this one and again without more :(
I love the single dad/mum trope but I was left with the same taste in my mouth as I was with the first one, plus it served to corroborate how much I hate Carter ugh, the story itself...cute, girly, romantic, but how fast it all goes by, without a touch of drama, and how much they make out by saying over and over again paragraphs of how much they love each other? ? I hated it because of how boring I found it, even though I'm willing to read the next one and I have all my expectations on Jaxon, I really do, because after all I've grown fond of the boys.
