Until We Burn

A church is burned down in small town, causing the deaths of several parishioners, including children. Fifteen years later the crime remains unsolved. Cyrus Street returns to this town, where he grew up, to try and solve the case and bring the perpetrator to justice.

This is a dark mystery story with a compelling main character. It's definitely full of twists that keep you guessing the entire way and leans into the psychological thriller/horror genre. I felt the idea behind the story was intriguing, but it was a little bit overwritten and probably could have been edited down and cleaned up a bit for a tighter story. Other than that, I think the writer did a really good job at creating an interesting story and fans of this genre will enjoy this book.
