I love the character!

I had the pleasure of beta reading this story.

This is the journey of a child becoming a man, while other children are still playing, when his destiny comes calling. I love the character, Forrest. He is a wonderful mix of the innocent child he is with the adult destiny he was born with. The author, Leonard, has done a fantastic job of writing the scenario in such a way that I believed it. After all, that is the job of the author... write something that disbelief can not enter the reader's mind while immersing them into that fictional world.

For me, this is another awesome addition to my collection of other works by Leonard D. Hilley II. I eagerly await his next, regardless of what series or setting he writes.
