Vengeance

I love this book. Isabella Starling is the queen of raw, gritty dark romance and I love her for it. Carter is the perfect anti-hero, the relationship growth between him and Evangeline is sweet to watch unfold. Evangeline's struggle with her emotions - how she was feeling as opposed to how she felt she should feel, felt very real. It had a few twists that made the reader think and wonder what was happening and where she was taking the book. I cannot wait for the next instalment in this series.

*This is the first book in the Empire Sins series but reads as a complete book.

Warning: This is a dark romance, as such, it has some moments that some people may find difficult.
