We are moving

When I got my hands on [b:Little Critter: We Are Moving 13623758 Little Critter We Are Moving Mercer Mayer http://d.gr-assets.com/books/1348780964s/13623758.jpg 19227501] I immediately thought about another book I've had on my shelves since childhood. Actually I think this book was my brothers as a child (he's over a decade older than I) from Random House called [b:The Berenstain Bears' Moving Day 263599 The Berenstain Bears' Moving Day Stan Berenstain http://d.gr-assets.com/books/1344368999s/263599.jpg 2900050]. Previously my moving themed book of choice was the Berenstain Bears Moving Day and now there is a new one to add to that in a Little Critter We Are moving. While in this one Little Critter seems to have an attitude, but I think for the nervous and unsure child it is similar to how they might feel. While “Moving Day” was more about obvious fear of moving, “We are Moving” is more about anger because of moving. However I think they are alike too, because the main thing is that it is different for these two little boys, Brother Bear and Little Critter, and they react to their “fear in different ways. Yet in the end... they both find that a new environment has it's perks as well. “Sometimes moving is not so bad.” Thanks to HarperCollins for providing a copy for review.
