Mary balogh is a great writer no doubt, but her books drag on so hard! My issue with her books has always been the snail like pace and the lack of stuff happening. This is something a few friends of mine adore, saying that her novels are very grounded in reality. For me, I just want more adventure and craziness in my romances.
