Lottie is thirty-three and sick of long-term boyfriends who don't want to commit to marriage. When her old boyfriend Ben calls out of the blue and reminds her of their pact to marry if they were both still single at thirty, Lottie jumps at the chance. There will be no dates and no engagement - just a quick march to the altar and a honeymoon on the Greek island where they first met. But family and friends, sure they're making a terrible mistake, are determined to intervene.

I've read all Kinsella's previous novels, literally creased with laughter at the exploits of Rebecca Bloom and loving the standalone novels like Twenties Girl.
Wedding Night was not my favourite of the books, I felt that the premise for the book was weak, the storyline didn't go far enough at the end towards concluding the characters stories and there seemed to be a rather tired author.
It lacked pace and punch, it also lacked real romance. The characters didn't seem to gel well together
I loved this book! It was recommended by Heather via her YouTube channel ‘Bookables'. It was so funny! I had to share the audio of the hot air balloon scene with my daughter, because it was so hilarious that I couldn't keep it to myself. This would make such a great romcom. I'm actually surprised that hasn't happened yet!
I was able to borrow a digital copy of this book using my Libby app and I listened to the unabridged audio version via the Scribd app.
