Weight of the Crown

This series was just ok, and ending was blah. It's kind of how many Fantasy books are written. Young male protagonist gathers his supporters to beat the big bad, fall in love with one of those supporters and the big bad is vanquished. Then another's out into its place, big crescendo, vanquished/killed bad guy and at the end everyone lives happily ever after. Blah!
