I didn't love book 1, but I read it in a day and enjoyed it enough to check the second one out and give it a read... my mistake.
Unfortunately, this felt like the author got a lot of love from tik tok on book 1 and rushed a book 2. It didn't make any sense, I hated the love triangle, the twist at the end (again), and in general most things about this book. The voyeurism spice scene while Walter and her bff watched? So fricken cringe and weird. I don't think turning the best friend into a love interest was the right call.
And WALTER? WHY??? Literally did not need to happen.
Overall I was so disappointed in this book, and felt like it really needed some heavy editing and revamping. I did not like it and didn't think book 2 was done well.
idk.
I was seriously enjoying the story. TBH when the typos started - the story just seemed to go downhill from there. Like certain plot points got rushed, character development went sideways. Idk. I probably won't read the 3rd.
