This book draws on research from the field of cognitive science to expertly analyze some of the unexamined meta-beliefs in education. It may have confirmed some of the biases I have against majority of educational theories (such as Bloom Taxonomy and evidence-based research in education), its greater influence on me is to help to shape my teaching to focus more on students' learning.
