What In God's Name

Reads like a Saturday Night Live skit that went on too long. Incredibly obvious humor, and absolutely no character development. Plot logic is frequently sacrificed for a cheap gag. This works if you are Douglas Adams but not if you are Simon Rich. Cannot believe all of the glowing reviews I read for this book, but I'm just glad I borrowed it from the library and didn't spend money on it.
