Last January I started the Sisters of the Heart series from Ann Shorey with a delight and eagerly awaited the release of Rosemary's story. While I loved Rosemary and Elijah as characters some things in this book were not perfectly appealing to me. Although I could hardly put it down and had to keep reading to find out what was next. This one was a mystery as there was an angry bad guy lurking in the darkness. Part of me felt like he could have been left out of the entire story and I wouldn't have missed anything; he just didn't add to it. The only other thing that bugged me was how Rosemary was so quick to jump to non trusting at one point and then after continuous arguing and refusal to listen once when she hears the same thing she's heard before it's all forgiveness and kisses and the book ends. That was shocking and odd to me, it just quit.

I loved Where Wildflower's Bloom and really enjoy Ann Shorey's narratives and will definitely look for the third in this series and more of her titles to come in the future. This one just wasn't my favorite. Check out my uber positive review of Where Wildflower's Bloom, back here. http://creativemadnessmama.com/blog/2012/01/24/where-wildflowers-bloom-by-ann-shorey/
