Where One Goes is a beautiful, bittersweet story about love and loss and healing. Charlotte can see dead people who haven't yet crossed over to the other side. Ike walks into her life at one of her lowest moments, begging for her to help him save his brother so that he can finally be at peace. Agreeing to help him, Charlotte has no idea that Ike will end up saving her in the process.

I've never read a book before where I wished that the heroine could end up with two people at the end. I rooted for Charlotte/Ike just as much as I rooted for Charlotte/George, even knowing from the beginning that one of these relationships could never be. I loved Ike. I loved George. Both brothers took their turns breaking my heart throughout this story. Charlotte, too. I felt for all of these characters. Every emotion they felt leaked off the pages and into my heart. This story is sad. This story is hopeful. It's everything a good book should be.
