Where the Crawdads Sing

This book was mostly enjoyable due to the scenic descriptions of nature and the relatability/“like-ability” of the main character
The story has so much potential, but I feel that the author spends way too much of the novel describing the main character's romantic relationships when that wasn't even the most interesting element of the plot. I feel that this also makes the pace of the story a little wonky-feeling.
Overall it was a chill read. Wouldn't necessarily recommend.
