While You Were Mine

Though I am still waiting for a follow-up to The Magic of Ordinary Days (are you seeing this, Ms. Creel?), I was really delighted to find this book for free on Amazon. I wasn't expecting much, because for some reason I just assumed that the monthly free books are generally not great, but I was wrong! I loved this book and the main characters and the time period and the description of outfits. Ms. Creel definitely has a knack for writing 1940s fiction, I'd say.
