Whistle in the Dark

This is the second novel by Emma Healey, following the excellent bestseller Elizabeth is Missing. It's a mystery about the four day disappearance of Lana, a fifteen-year-old girl, and her mother's efforts to piece together what might have happened. Much of the suspense in this book is found in the not knowing. The reader is in the dark for much of the story. I highly recommend this book. Thanks to Net Galley for the preview copy.
