Best of the three volumes. Art is better than the last chapter of Vol. 2, though I did prefer the original artist of Vol.1 and 2. Dialogues are somewhat improved. They're not as cringe anymore, except for Ais's inner thoughts. She's set up for a sequel which I will surely not touch.
Definitely my favourite volume out of the 3. Fascinating.
The final graphic novel in Sanderson's White Sand series is probably the best of the three. Most of the world building and character introductions have taken place, which allows you to get into the story a bit more. I still find the graphic novel format less than ideal for Sanderson's story telling style, particularly with this more overtly political rather than action based story, but this one jars less on the transitions than the previous 2 in the series.
The key concepts within the story remain good. The characters are interesting enough and the world is well built with an excellent magic system incorporated into it. It remains one of the less essential parts of the cosmere, but for fans of Sanderson's work you do need to include this in your reading lists. I would recommend starting elsewhere to people new to his work though.
5/10 Graphic Audio
I have no idea why I liked the first two but not this volume. I dont like any of the characters. Every plot line is cliché, and every line of dialog is empty or cringe. Worst Sanderson work I have read.
