This was really cute!! Had the same issue of the heroine forgiving the hero a bit too quickly for me but this was cuter than the other book.
A short novella.
This was a very happy surprise. claps
The amnesia trope, the forced confinement with a stranger in an isolated cabin and the revenge plot all get a nice spin to great effect.
The story is told from Nathan's POV and this is perfect because we only know what he knows, we experience his fears, doubts and apprehensions. This makes the first half of the book quite gripping, mysterious and will keep you guessing. The second half is utterly romantic in the most wonderful way.
However what I most enjoyed about this book is that aside from the plot this story is about something else, it's about identity. About the paths we take and don't take in life. About family.
I'm dying to say so much more but don't want to ruin this nice surprise.
My only quibble is that I would've liked to know a bit more about Jason. Maybe next time. ;-)
Fall into you - Caroline Frank
Hold onto your hats.... This one couldn't be cuter.
Liza has just been dumped by a man she really didn't love and it seems like she has never been in love but all that changes when her brother's best friend Matt comes back to town and the sparks fly, trouble is, her brother is adamant it will never happen.
Who doesn't love a brother's best friend rom com with a secret romance thrown in for good measure. I know I do. Liza is looking for the one and Matt has always been a bit of a player but all that changes when he sees Liza. Liza doesn't want to upset her brother and the two of them hide their relationships and some of the situations they get themselves into... HILARIOUS!!
I thought it was funny but had some really heartfelt moments and I am so glad I got to enjoy this fabulous audio.
4 stars.
