I like this cover. Although it doesn't represent the story well. I mean a camera would have been a better choice for a graphic than a lipstick. Still, you have to give props for it's creative use. The red title work on the black and white background makes it pop as well.

This one was good but not great for me. It was well written and well paced for sure, but it was another one of these books where if the characters had a two-minute conversation I wouldn't have spent the majority of the book frustrated waiting for them to get to the point. It was also one of those books that jump back and forth in time which was well done, but I would have preferred much more NOW time. I mean these two spend the equivalation of maybe two days in each others company by the time we reach 87% in the present portion of the book.

But like I said it was well written. Incredibly SLOW burn (no sex until 87% and not very descriptive at that). No OW/OM drama. I loved Griffin and would love to see more of him. The two main characters were a bit love/hate for me. I liked Kelsey. I understood what she did. How her father influenced her. The guilt etc. Wyatt, I wasn't a fan of. Mostly because he spends the majority of the NOW acting like a butthurt asshole. Lastly, the ending was so abrupt I thought I must be missing some pages.

So ya, good, but just didn't WOW me as much as I expected it to.
