Wild Like the Wind

To begin my review on wild like the wind I would like to put forward that I have not read any of the other books in the series. I picked it up at the library and was intrigued by the premise of a motorcycle club as well as the long relationship that the characters have had together. As a stand-alone, the beginning is quite confusing as there are links to other books. but links are minimal where you can still enjoy it regardless. however, if you are reading the whole series this is positive as there is a clear flow of storyline and ideas as the author moves from one book to the next.

the characters were wonderfully written in. the explanation of their past years together as well as their hardship and emotions help put the readers in the right scenario. the dialogue and scenario put in helping us imagine the frustration of losing her husband as well as her gratitude for hound being there to help her as well as starting to become someone she relies on. we can see that she want to be with him, at least have interactions with him due to her insistence that he bring her checks.

the beginning of their relationship is odd with Keely propositioning sex. in which the first half of the book is heavy on the steamy scenes however it also shines some light on the way their relationship progressed. At the beginning of the relationship was simply the two main character satisfying their sexual needs. neither wanting to admit theirs through feelings. over Time the author writes in more dialogue that discusses their jobs, future, and children. there was more dialogue as they become more intertwined in each other

there are a few tear-jerking scenes for where the characters are dealing with their emotions where Keely is dealing with moving on from her dead husband and where Hound is afraid of losing the people he loved as well as dishonoring the man he thought as a brother. there a few moments that you think the trouble is coming and they are diverted which a quite fun with you expecting and calming down wich I fell keep you on your toes

one criticism if I must there are quite a few sex scenes that I feel that some were quite unnecessary to the story itself. they are on repeat some times. loses its purpose to show a change in the relationship. other than that I really have none. enjoy away
