Clowes is one of a kind and you either get him or you don't.

Wilson, a graphic novel told in single page chapters and drawn in a variety of styles, follows a middle-aged misanthrope as he stumbles through life, self-obsessed and oblivious to others feelings.

It's sometimes laugh out loud funny, sometimes heartbreaking, sometimes cringe inducing. But always excellent.
