I've seen Witchblade here and there, so I though I'd just pick up an origins to see how it all started. Wasn't particularly impressed with the plot, which felt a bit simple and somewhat drawn out. The artwork and style was impressive, although that might depend on how you feel about double page spreads of ladies not very much, as well as unrealistic shredding of clothing items. Lots of internal monologue showing up as captions, a bit more than I'd expected in a comic book, so it was kinda nice; they helped to flesh out the characters, protagonist and villain alike. Could do with a better proofreader though.
