Witching Hour

The last we saw Cassie she was being kidnapped and when she wakes up Damien and her are chained up in a dungeon. Do not fear though because Nikki Landis has a plan in Witching Hour.

Landis introduces us to an intriguing new character who I think we will see more of in the future. I think this person is quite funny and might give Damien a run for it with snarky one-liners.

We also get battles and a little bit of magic...okay quite a bit of magic (laugh). Landis throws some red herrings in there too so beware. Cassie of course is the heroine we have all become familiar with and as I have said before she must be the Energizer freaking bunny. Lucky for us Landis throws in some bunny fun too. (wink) I really like the development of Damien and Cassie's relationship. I hope Landis concentrates a book each on the other men in Cassie's life.

Once again Landis delivers action, love, “fun”, and magic. I am ready for the next round. Let's hope the gang is too!
