Wolves

Emily Gravett, how I admire the way you play with the picture book form while still making books that are funny and that speak straight to kids! I love this book, in which a rabbit borrows a book about wolves from the library and the wolves, well, they come out of the book. SPOILER: they eat him. But my kids were rescued from nightmares by the “alternate ending” in which the wolves are vegetarians.
