Wylding Hall

I have never seen anything capture the horror elements and strangeness of fairy lore in a modern setting so well as this. The details were so lovely and chilling. The interview style narrative worked wonderfully to enhance the tension and mystery. Full disclosure: I listened to the audiobook, so I'm not sure how it works on the page, but overall I was entirely immersed and mystified by this perfect little gem.
