An invaluable reminder that we are all Buddhas. Roosevelt writes of compassion, integrity, courage, and service as the building blocks of a worthwhile life. Her voice can be grating at times, or mildly (unintentionally) condescending, but I dare say she is a shining example of checking one's privilege: she demonstrates an invigorating humility and kindness and wakefulness.
