This book was a beautifully poignant, yet fast read and I thoroughly enjoyed it. However, the author's afterword was equally beautiful and evoked emotions that rendered me to tears. As much as I appreciate afterwords, that was certainly a first for me! I definitely recommend this one if you're looking for a quick emotional roller coaster ride. Right now it's available on Kindle Unlimited and the audible book is free to borrow along with it.

I couldn't get behind the lying. If it hadn't been for lying being a major part of the book for the majority of the book, I might have been able to salvage this read but I just hate deception in books like this.
