Pretty good reminder of the wild West days of the computing in the 1980s. As someone who lived through the period, much of the description and factual reflection was spot on. However, the characters felt a little 2D at times and the final quarter of the book felt fantastical. However, as with all of Doctorow's books the asides and side swipes at big tech are delicious.
