Someone on Instagram sold me on this while I was in a slump when she said “if you want to know what Lorcan did”... she was not wrong. I loved the dynamic and really appreciated the specific way Charissa wrote the MMC. This was an interesting and enjoyable story, I am very much looking forward to the next part.

I am very appreciative of the way the characters were written in this book. Our FMC is logical, thoughtful, emotional, and matures before our eyes. I LOVE being able to actively watch and follow the growth during a story like this. That being said, while the writing was some of the best I've read recently, the story was not gripping enough for me to continue to the 2nd book at the moment.
