It started really well. I felt it was really well written and the author made me really hate Rafe. There was plenty of suspense and a no time did I feel the book was unrealistic. My issue is that I felt the ending a bit lacklustre compared to the beginning. I would say I loved the first 2/3rds - evident by the fact that I read that much on the first day I got it - but the ending was a bit disappointing. All in all a good read, but not a favourite.
Didn't really enjoy. Some pervasive problematic views. Some characters completely unlikeable. The only interesting part was towards the end, and then the ending was unsatisfying. It felt rushed.
Essentially it's not for me. But maybe others may like it.
