Abby Jimenez does a wonderful job of crafting characters that feel alive, with their own flaws and strengths. Brianna and Jacob's story is cute and heartfelt in the first half of the book. The second half plays to classic tropes of characters who keep passing like ships in the night. It makes me wish we got to see more of these two tackling life's challenges together, rather than focusing on will they won't they. Overall, an enjoyable, comfortable story that makes me hope we'll see more of these two.
