Flying Blind: The 737 MAX Tragedy and the Fall of Boeing

An in depth exploration of the regulatory environment, company leaders and corporate culture that led to the MAX crashes and Boeing's response. Interesting information, but by no means an uplifting read, as many of those problems exist today in Boeing and other companies. Focuses on the before and after rather than the crashes themselves. Can be quite dense or dry at times, but is full of well-reseaechedl background information.

The Happy Ever After Playlist

Abby combines relatable characters with witty and fun dialog to expand on the universe from “The Friend Zone”. It’s great to see the protagonists from the first book playing an active role in the story while a side character takes center stage and comes into her own. Lots of twists and turns, with plenty of cute moments. Well worth the read, it will leave you wanting more.

Interesting Stories from the North

This book is a collection of stories of various cargo flying endeavours around the world. The way it's written is very conversational. In some ways that's good, as it doesn't get bogged down in flowery writing or jargon. It does at times lack organisation and at many points stories will co-mingle or come one after another without much reason.

Overall, a great read for those interested in a life of flying on cargo planes, living adventures and getting into(and out of) tricky situations

An insightful look at the open range era

The book does a wonderful job of covering a wide range oh history and personalities, focusing on individual struggles as well as the growth of the west as a hole. A great book for anyone interested in cowboys, cattle barons or the development of the western US.
