Not sure I know what happened. However. Granny.

I liked it well enough, but two major criticisms (one being the male gaze, the other being too spoilery to say here) drove me to knock it down to “only” three stars

The ending saved it

Not at all what I expected, but very welcome. Finally some insight.
Keep it coming, Sanderson.

Holy. Hell.
I just experienced the sensation of my brain melting.
Brandon, my guy, what the actual fuck.

I am disturbed, numb, shocked.
Dear lord what happened here.

This was enjoyable, quite different from what I've come to expect from Mr Sanderson. A nice change, to be sure.

Just gotta love how the bamboozles keep stacking on each other right up until the very end.

Oh my, was this lovely. So funnily written, the characters gems, each and every one of them.
I'm surprised I liked it as much as I did, but I'm not complaining in the least.

Up until the middle part I didn't really feel it that much. The ending though... Yap, Sanderson did it again. I also had quite a big shift in which characters I liked and didn't like, that was interesting

I gravely underestimated the Sanderlanche.

3.5 I think

I wasn't too fond of the pacing, and the writing was a bit too flowery for my taste. Still, it was rather charming.

Few things I'd like to have seen done in another way, but man
What an epic conclusion
I loved it

Where do you get the audacity for that ending

WHAT THE ACTUAL–

Loved the last quarter

The middle of the book was fun to read, but it did lose me a bit. The ending more than saved it though. I'm excited for the next one!

I like the magic system. The rest of the story was pretty neat too.

Not entirely what I was expecting, but it was enjoyable.

I continue merrily screaming. I continue naively thinking “how can it get worse from here”
And then of course Will pulls a Will.
I am so incredibly hyped for the last book. Hyped, but strangely sad.

When I think the screaming I do for this series cannot get worse, Will pulls a Will.
I have no words. My thoughts are incomprehensible. The. Hype. Is. Real.

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH

YOU CANNOT KEEP DOING THIS TO ME WILL
