I started reading this more than 20 years ago and then realizing this is the early history of the elves made me beyond excited and happy to pick this one up. Definitely recommend if you are obsessed with the hobbit or the lord of the rings series and want even more world building and characters and background. What a treat this was. Many of the names i couldnt pronounce but appreciated the index that had the pronunciation guide and maps etc.
