I want jams and cinnamon rolls asap after reading this book ROFL! I loved how atmospherical and magical this book was. By far such a fun cozy fantasy that I honestly know for my own experience I needed to be in the mood for this one. I know I attempted to pick this one up before and was bored BUT with picking this up NOW with the right mood its what my fantasy love of books needed and honestly may need to pick up more from Sarah Beth Durst :). Caz is my favorite :)
It was an inspiring read but so much emphasis on the food and holy crap these ultra marathoners are a whole other level. I have ran half marathons and 10ks and 5ks but could never see myself running an ultra especially for what it does to your body. Was very interesting the discussions on the meals he ate throughout but overall was a good 1 and done read. will be unhauling this one..
This one was a wild ride. I am loving the adventures of these characters but there were definitely parts where I was like okay I don't want to hear about another damn train and how they switch on the tracks lol. Overall still team Princess Donut and Carl but I am nervous on where this is going to lead into book 4 x.x onward!
What a fun quick read series this was. I love the cat so much and really enjoyed this duology. Adding this installment as well to my to be future purchased. Really enjoyed the Audiobook the narrators were amazing. If you chose to check this one out definitely grab the audiobook, you will not be disappointed.
This was so perfect and really reminded me a lot of one of the installments of pirates of Caribbean almost. It was darker than I expected but was so perfect for a high adventure almost pirate style story. So glad I own this cause I could see myself rereading this. Definitely recommend this classic 100x over
I flew through this one. I just could not put it down and ignored so many responsibilities because it gripped me. I was fascinated by all the recollection of memories and the characters interacting and then the big reveal hit and I about dropped my jaw on the floor. I have read books like this and they were done in a different way than this one but I think I found this literary fiction to be absolutely fascinating. I am so glad I knew nothing going into this one and I powered through to page 80 because 80 to the end made it worth the entire read. I was getting exhausted and bored from the beginning pieces but it made all the more sense that build and I applaud ishiguro for that. Just wow. I've seen this title shared literally everywhere and was curious but this one lives up to the hype.
The trauma and the events and the unfolding of just about everything that happened within this book had my blood boiling the entire time. The character amir I hated him from start to finish and feeling like self righteous individual just made me hate him more. I really don't know why people recommend books like this, this is on my level of disgust with a little life. I would never recommend this or a little life to anyone. Yeah I'll say it it's trauma porn and unnecessarily doesn't need to be written. I'm going to go throw up now from what I just read.
I've never read anything like this and honestly going completely blind was the best experience for this one. I can't wait to dive into the remainder of this book set. The technology was really cool and loved how I felt immersed in this post-apocalyptic world learning more about Fever. Definitely a great start to my journey of Steampunk
This author is what I needed in my life. His books are just so incredibly entertaining and well written and so so good. I am sad this got consumed within 2 days because I loved this as much as the dungeon crawler carl series. I will be purchasing this book so I can reread in the future. Such a good book. The computer was my favorite lol.
What an incredible and impactful book/story. I am amazed on how well structured and written this book was and I am so thankful I picked this one up. It gave me a clearer understanding of the middle east/taliban events that painted a huge part of my highschool life to adulthood life. I find malala's story to be inspiring and brave on what it takes to stand up for what you are passionate about and what is right.
