that was a good continuation to this series. At first i was not a fan but that build throughout was good.

I'm not a fan of romance period but I've been told countless times how I needed to read this classic no matter what. I definitely feel this audiobook narrator did a great job and I found the characters to be interesting and the overall environment ambiance to be great. definitely was worth reading once but don't see myself rereading.

okay that was SO GOOD. if i could go back in time to read r.f. kuang for the first time it should have been this book first over babel or katabasis. the poppy war is everything i've always loved about fantasy books. the characters, world building, politics, battles just amazing. this one is going to sit with me for some time.
